So, I'm going to blog. I want you guys to keep up to date with what we are doing at Love Miss Daisy Photography, and I reckon this might be a good way to do it. I am not very good at technology, seo, digital marketing and all that stuff that is apparently very important to my business (I'm knee-deep in figuring it all out though, so bear with me), but I am good at talking and being open and honest, so blogging it is!
Firstly, for those of you visiting our website for the first time, a big HELLO! I really hope that you stick around and get to know us and hopefully we will get to meet in person at some point soon.
Right, down to business. Who are we and what are we all about? Love Miss Daisy Photography has been floating around for many years, in many different forms, but in its current state we've been photographing Geelong's loveliest people for about 3 years. I enjoy taking pictures of families at all stages of their lives but I reeeeeeallly love working with the teeny tiny ones. My why is all about capturing creative, modern and artistic portraits of your newborn babies and convincing you to print them big and hang them with pride. If you've read some of the posts on my facebook page, you'll know I'm on a bit of a mission to get Geelong to print their images! I know you all love digitals, so of course I offer them, but do me a favour and just let me print you one fine art print to try it out. You'll never go back, I promise :)
We have a few big things going on at the moment, which I'm dying to share with you. I have a fancy new studio which is almost finished and I'll def do a blog post when it's done, but think light, bright, warm, and comfortable and you'll start to get the idea. There will be a parent area for viewing images, looking at sample products, enjoying a cup of tea (or bubbles if that's your thing), and having a much needed relax. All our props, gowns, fabrics, wraps, outfits will be on display, the walls will be adorned with beautiful babies as art, and there will be a huge wall of light, bathing the whole space in a lovely glow. Eeeek, it's exciting!
I will also be launching our Signature Family Mini Sessions soon
. I have so many families wanting to regularly update their photos in a cost effective way, so I've decided to offer a mini session day every couple of months. More of this to come.
Finally, I'm turning 40 this month. There will be a very special offer. That's all I'm saying.
